Naomi Murrell

"Naomi's whimsical imagery is inspired by what she finds when she gets lost in her imagination. Driven by the impulse to capture beauty and share it with others, her work is big on hope, happiness and simple pleasures"

Naomi Murrell makes beautiful jewellery and unique illustrative works for fun lovers. I've often come across her lovely designs in magazines such as Frankie and Yen, so thought I'd check her website out for myself. If you're after a treat for yourself or a special friend, I suggest you check it out for yourself as well - you won't be disappointed, I guarantee!

Today I discovered Pony Anarchy, a completely free and online magazine dedicated to whimsical, gorgeous fashion shoots and interviews with inspirational artists, illustrators, photographers and writers (just to name a few!) After all, how many free magazines are this awesome?

Photographer: Annija Muižule

my body is a cage hold me close it's just a quiet day her dark hair converged with the dark forest bloom

Welcome to photographer Annija Muižule's world- one where time almost seems to stand still, light emanates softly through lace-curtained windows and the woods are the perfect place for solace. To view the rest of her beautiful work, you should pop past her Flickr, or why not check out her own blog? Both are sure to delight!

Photographer: Bertha Pfirsich

I recently came across the work of photographer Bertha Pfirsich in a Frankie newsletter (then later found out I had been following her on tumblr all along). The super stylish photographer currently lives in the historical city of Barcelona and has had her work featured in several top-of-the-range publications such as LAND Magazine, Unicorn Dream Magazine and my all-time favourite blog - Daydream Lily. Feel free to view more of Bertha's amazing photography here. Enjoy your day! x

“There is something strange and beautiful about this life. Some destroy beauty while others try to restore it." — Shanna Allyn

There is something so precious about capturing a moment of simplicity and beauty in life. Shanna Allyn's photographic works (as seen in Frankie Magazine) do just that - sometimes weird, sometimes wonderful, the two elements work together in perfect harmony to portray a curious little world.

I love secret gardens and everything to do with them. Two of my favourite novels are The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton and of course, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I discovered the Berlin-based photographer Marie Zucker through Frankie Magazine and when I found her series of work titled 'Secret Garden', I was thrilled. Above are some of my favourite photographs from the collection, however I strongly recommend you have a look at the rest of the series, particularly the polaroids.
